About templates

Templates for the Buy Page, Control Bar and Search Bar are stored in the Templates subdirectory of the directory where eBook Maestro is installed. There are three more subdirectories in the Templates directory: Buy Page, Control Bar and Search Bar. Templates are stored in these three directories. Templates for the Buy Page are stored in the Buy Page directory, templates for the Control Bar - in Control Bar and for the Search Bar - in Search Bar.

Each template is a separate directory that must contain the file 'index.html'. This file is obligatory and the eBook opens it once started.

Also, to make it possible for you to preview a template while you are editing project settings, the directory must have the file 'preview.html'.

During the compilation process eBook Maestro copies the content of the entire template into the corresponding file directory. The only file that is not copied is the file preview.html because only the compiler uses this file.
